'New Mutants' round of confirmations: Blu Hunt and Henry Zaga join the spin-off of 'X-Men'

Even though it 's just under a year before the release of 'New Mutants' , the spin-off of 'X-Men' set in the mutant universe of Marvel (April 2018 is the due date), the confirmations of the cast never stop happening . The last two define the physique of two of the most important characters of the group of young mutants.

The first one is unofficial news coming from the Hollywood Reporter : Blu Hunt would be the Native American Danielle Moonstar (who has alternately used the nicks of Psyche and Mirage). This telepath can create arrows and other objects with mental energy, generate mirages based on the fears of their enemies and communicate with the animals.
It is an essential character within the mythology of the Mystic Bear , which is the saga that will adapt 'New Mutants': the terrible bear killed his parents and the visions of the monster affect her especially. The only significant role to date of Blu Hunt has been episodic in the vampire series of The CW 'The Originals'.
Sunspot
The second confirmation yes that has been made official by Fox and it is up to Henry Zaga, that has had episodic interventions in 'Teen Wolf' and 'For thirteen reasons'. It will give life to the Brazilian Roberto Da Costa, better known as Solar Spot , a mutant that can manipulate the energy of the sun and turn it into a weapon.
They are joining an increasingly nurturing cast whose latest additions have been Rosario Dawson's (as mentor to Professor Xavier and with the ability to generate force fields) and Charlie Heaton's 'Stranger Things' (as Cannonball, One of the team leaders). Also recently it has been known that the film will have a possible orientation towards the cinema of terror, rather than to the action or the drama .
The mutant family continues to grow at high speed after the first and promising confirmed names : Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch ',' Múltiple ') as sorceress Magik and Maisie Williams (' Game of Thrones') as the licantrópica Poisonous Wolf Ten against one that this mythical translation of Comics Forum does not survive the dubbing of the film)
Mysticbear
'New Mutants' will adapt one of the mythical comics of the mutant Marvel of the eighties , scripted by Chris Claremont and drawn by Bill Sienkiewicz. Belongs to the time when mutant comics were disturbing teen dramas more than power fantasies for 30s, and will lead Josh Boone - Josh Boone - 'A Winter on the Beach' , 'Under the Same Star' - co- Knate Gwaltney.
A few months ago, Fox showed an animated storyboard that did frank justice to the original comic and confirmed our favorite comic book character: the Lockheed belch-fire minidragon . Still missing characters to be announced, such as Magma, Cifra or ( glups ) Warlock, so we will continue to wait, it is going to be a very long and very mutant year.
